THOMAS G. SANDS, PE, RLS is a retired civil engineer who spent his career with the Salt River Project where he managed major water projects. He was a long time board member of The Governors, an affiliate organization of SLHI which supported East Valley health care. Tom is an Arizona native and is actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America, the Kiwanis Club of Tempe, Tempe Leadership and a number of other civic and professional organizations. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Civil Engineers and is a past recipient of the Arizona Water Association’s Engineer of the Year.
